We have put together some information to make your experience
with us more efficient so that from the time you hire the
car to the time you return it, there is less hassle and less
fuss leaving you to enjoy your South African holiday in your
dream rental car.
Please read the following car rental information on hiring
a car in South Africa before continuing on your journey.
When hiring a car with us

Always
have your drivers license with you. We do not require
an International Drivers License if you are not a South
African Citizen, but we do require that your license be
in English. |

If you are not a South Africa
Citizen, then your are required to present a valid passport
when booking/collecting your rental car. |

You
will be asked to furnish us with your contact details
- including home address, telephone number and the address
where you will be staying whilst you have the rental car.
This is so we can contact you during or after the rental
if necessary. |

You
will need to supply us with your credit card. We must
take an inprint of the card for the transaction to be
legal. If the credit card is due to expire during your
rental or just after it is due to end then you will need
to supply us with your new credit card as well. |

The Credit Card holder will need
to be present to sign all documentation required at the
start of the rental. |
During
your rental
| >> |
If
you would like more then one driver for the vehicle, then
they must be listed on the rental agreement. Only those
persons mentioned on the agreement, and whose licenses
and numbers etc have been verified and recorded may drive
the vehicle. Should you need to add someone to the list
of authorised drivers during your car rental then you
will need to go into one of our branches to present that
person's driver's license. |

If
you choose to accept our standard insurance and then want
to upgrade your insurance, you will need to take the car
to one of our branches. One of our staff members will
need to verify that the vehicle is still in the same condition
you received it in and you will need to sign acceptance
of the additional daily charges. |

If
anything should happens to the vehicle during your car
rental, please kindly contact us to arrange repairs -
do not carry out any repairs to the vehicle. If you are
in a remote area and need to, for example, replace a tyre
or window, please contact us first for authorisation.
We may be able to direct you to a branch or a supplier
who can help you. |
Damage
or theft

When
you collect your car for rental, you will be asked to
inspect the car for damage. It is important to make note
on the inspection form and hand a copy of this form when
returning the vehicle. |

Please
make time to check the vehicle again before you return
it with one of our staff members present. It is your responsibility
to do so. At this time any visible damages not noted on
your inspection form will be marked and you will be asked
to sign a claim form. |

If
damage occured and was not visible ie under a piece of
dirt at the time of the inspection, you will still be
liable for the damage. |

It
is not possible for the staff member who checks the vehicle
with you on your return to tell you how much you may be
charged for any new damages. Rather take down the contact
e-mail address or telephone number and make sure that
we have yours so that we can communicate with you with
regards to the charges. |

It
is important that you familiarise yourself with the factors
that can negate all cover. These can be found in our terms
and conditions. |
After
your rental
| >> |
You
are required to refuel your rental car as a courtesy to
the next renter. Even if you have filled the tank there
may be a further charge depending on where you filled
it and how full the attendant made it. |

Fuel
charges are levied at standard fuel prices and there is
no additional levy charged. |
| >> |
Vehicles
are filled at the closest depot so if your vehicle was
collected from you the fuel cost from the collection point
to the depot is your responsibility. |
